2010 Coho Derby  August 31st to September 1st   Cash Prize of $10,000
Coho, or Silvers as they’re called by our nabors to the south, are undoubtedly the best action fish on our coast.  You will never forget being in the midst of a coho feeding frenzy.  Arguably the best barbeque fish in the sea, we will pay you ten grand if you catch the biggest coho on this trip.  Once again, rules are simple.  The fish must be caught within the context of the law, on rod and reel, by whatever method you choose.

Tyee Derby 10

2010 Tyee Derby  July 20th to July 24th   Cash Prize of 10,000
Without a doubt, Chinook are the most coveted game species on the west coast of Canada.   If you book your trip to Duncanby on this date, we will give you ten grand if you catch the biggest Chinook.  Weather your preferred method is Mooching with cit plugs or trolling with downriggers, you can win the big prize.  Do you have what it takes to beat the defending champs?

Father Son Halibut Derby 10

2010 Father Son Halibut Derby  June 29th to July 3rd   Cash Prize of $2500
An ideal time to be in Rivers Inlet.  The Father Son Halibut Derby is a great opportunity for passionate halibut fishermen to get a little extra cash as a reward for that sore arm and back.   Halibut fishing in Rivers Inlet is phenomenal all season long with June and July being no exception. 

Don’t let the derby deter you from fishing for salmon too.  Chinook salmon are so plentiful during this time it would be a shame not to drop a line for them as well. Since there is no entry fee for the derby, you are under no obligation to fish for any one species. Fish for what you want, when you want.   Just don’t forget, we will give you $2500 for the biggest Halibut!
